Emotional intelligence is the ability of people to identify emotions, of others as well as their own, distinguish between feelings, use emotional information to navigate their thoughts and actions, conform emotions to get accustomed to circumstances or accomplish an objective. THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE

The phrase ‘The medium is the message’ was coined by Marshall McLuhan. It tells us that the way information is portrayed using media or the medium of propagation used by it can add another dimension to the viewer’s understanding of the message or morale featured in it. An example is the way in which a music video succeeds in making an impact, far greater than its audio track. The different elements used in the video add multiple layers to the way the message is interpreted by the receiver. Establishing a link between the target viewers and the situation becomes a very important factor here and its efficiency determines the extent of influence the content is able to impose on the viewer.
